Beauty Formulas Rejuvenating Glorious Mud Facial Mask

Mrs Strawberry Blonde

Beauty Formulas Mud MaskHi there! Today’s post is about this £1Beauty Formulas Rejuvenating Glorious Mud Facial Mask that I found at Poundworld.

This face mask promises to remove dirt and excess oils from the skin’s surface and to absorb impurities. It also promises to unclog pores and to remove dead skin cells for a fresh skin glow.

Is this mask any good? Yes, absolutely! I think this is a reasonable face mask.

In the beginning the soapy fragrance threw me a little because I was expecting a chocolatey fragrance (yeah, my fault). However, the soapy fragrance is perfectly alright.

I’m also happy with what the mask does to my face because it makes my skin look and feel clearer.

My husband is equally pleased with this face mask. Whilst he thinks that the mask smells a little girly, he’s happy to use it once a week too. Awesome!

Have you tried this…

Boots Ingredients Energising & Revitalising Sheet Face Mask With Rooibos

Mrs Strawberry Blonde

upload-2Hi there! It’s been a while since I tried a new sheet mask, so I gave Boots Ingredients Energising & Revitalising Sheet Face Mask with Rooibos a go.

This sheet mask promises to leave skin feeling revitalised and energised for a whole day – all in 15 minutes. Does it work?

I’ve previously mentioned that the shape of Boots’ Ingredients sheet masks in incredibly awkward, and this mask is no different. However, despite its funny shape, this mask is actually very nice!

OK, so I left the mask on for much longer than 15 minutes (it was something between 30 and 45 minutes). But I always do that. 🙂

And when I took the mask off, my skin looked… energised! I can’t really describe it because most of the time my skin is rather moody (which is my fault because I always stay up late…). So it was surprising…

The Ordinary “Buffet” Serum Review

Makeup and Skin Care for Mature Skin

The Ordinary skin care line is super hot right now. Wayne Goss, a YouTube beauty guru, discovered the line and the rest is history. The company has been so overwhelmed by its overnight success that they have had trouble keeping products in stock. As someone who is always looking for anti-aging skin care products that work and don’t cost an arm and a leg I knew I had to place an order. I did a The Ordinary Skin Care Haul in late spring.

One of the products that I knew I wanted to try was the “Buffett” serum. I always use a serum at night and have yet to find one that I love and this reasonably priced. The “Buffett” seems like it is a good one. It is packed with proven anti-aging ingredients.

This formula combines a comprehensive array of studied technologies to target multiple signs…

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Cucumber Cooling Clay Mask

Mrs Strawberry Blonde

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing Superdrug’s Cucumber Cooling Clay Mask.

This mask is aimed at people with sensitive skin, and it promises a deep cleanse.

Well, I agree that this mask makes my skin feel and look cleansed. However, the mask isn’t cooling.

When I applied the mask, it actually felt quite warm for a minute (and it was considerably warmer than a self-heating mask).

The warm sensation went away, and my face was 100% fine afterwards. However, I can see how this might scare people – especially those who have suffered skin reactions in the past.

What else… I think this mas smells fairly nice. It’s the same cucumber fragrance that almost every other cucumber skin care product has. And I happen to like that cucumber fragrance!

Superdrug’s Cucumber Cooling Clay Mask is 100% vegan and cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo). It’s 99p at Superdrug, In…

innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Blackberry

Makeup and Skin Care for Mature Skin

This mask is from the Monster Sheet Mask Haul I did a few months back. I have seen a lot about innisfree online and this is the first mask I have tried from the brand. It is also the only blackberry mask I have seen so I had to try this one! I used this mask as part of #MaskaDayinMay.

A mask made with freshly squeezed blackberry to make the skin firm and supple while reducing wrinkles. A nourishing triple layer mask.

When and how to use: In the evening, after cleansing and before your final moisturizing step, tear open the mask packet, remove the sheet mask, unfold and fit over face. The mask has several slits to assist in customizing fit. Leave on for the time specified on the label (or a little bit longer), then remove. Pat or massage in excess product and finish with your emollient or…

7 Wonders Tundra Cranberry Anti-Aging Mask

Makeup and Skin Care for Mature Skin

I received the 7 Wonders Amazonian Acai Anti Pollution Mask in my Beauty Beyond Borders August 2016 bag. I loved it so much that I bought a variety pack of the 7 Wonders masks. This Tundra Cranberry Anti-Aging Mask was part of that.

Worried about your wrinkles? This coconut gel mask is infused with antioxidant-rich cranberry extracts from the arctic tundra to leave the skin firm and smooth!

Cranberry, found in the arctic tundra, is a highly resilient superfood containing the highest content of unsaturated oil. Its anti-aging properties help eliminate free radicals caused by oxidative stress to prevent premature aging.

  • Dryness
  • Dull skin
  • Fine lines & wrinkles
  • Loss of elasticity

  • Improves visible lines & wrinkles
  • Deeply hydrates skin

Crabtree & Evelyn gardeners range

sunshine and teacups

Even though i’m definitely not a gardener, I really see the appeal of this classic range from Crabtree & Evelyn. It’s aimed at soothing and repairing the driest and roughest of hands which means it’s super effective on dry skin in general. It’s the 20th anniversary of the Gardeners range and they’ve released some new products to celebrate.

I love the original gardeners hand therapy hand cream [£8 for 25g tube]; I genuinely cannot believe I haven’t tried this before! The fragrance is a mix of fresh green clover, lavender, sage, rosemary and thyme which maybe isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I think it works well with the theme of the range. For me I think this product is a great staple to have if you’re into handcreams and can provide that extra bit of relief for dry and rough hands. I also do love that this is totally…
