Nivea Invisible Deodorant

I bought this deodorant as I’m keen to get something that doesn’t stain clothing but does the job effectively. It promises me 48 hour freshness and no staining. Well, the no staining definitely works as far as I can tell, but it must the be worst anti-perspirant deodorant I’ve ever made the mistake of trying – though possibly not as bad as the one many years ago that brought me out in a very itchy rash, yuk!

Honestly, this product never actually gets dry and so you’re carrying round a wet sticky mess on your underarms all day long and I’m really sure I was a bit whiffy at one point – or possibly several! – in my day, so apologies to my work colleagues for that …

Anyway, I’ve not finished it and I definitely won’t be repurchasing, so my search for a good anti-perspirant which doesn’t stain continues … Wish me luck!

VO5 Volume Boost

Recently I decided to have a change from my usual hair gel, so picked up a couple of bottles of VO5 Volume Boost in my shopping. It has a nice feel and scent, and I like the way it goes on my hair, but really it doesn’t do any kind of volume boosting at any level, so not a great result there!

The other irritating thing is that on the bottle I’ve used, the spray mechanism kept on sticking in the down position so I couldn’t get any of the pesky gel out at all, grrrr! You have no idea how annoying this is in the morning when I don’t have time to mess about with faulty packaging.

In the end I have abandoned it and gone back to my usual volume gel, which is making me feel much happier, I must say. The problem is that I still have an unopened bottle of the VO5 left, so will have to struggle with it again at some point, LOL!

Not a product I can recommend then.
