I bought this loose face powder from Boots online a while back as it was in a 3-for-2 offer. I’d not tried it before, but I’m always on the look out for a good loose face powder as I’m not a fan of pressed powders – which seem to have rather got the upper hand in the beauty stakes these days.
This is a translucent powder though there are also other versions you can buy – but as my skin is so pale, I always opt for a pale or translucent variety. The first time I tried it, I had a bit of a problem – to say the least! – as when I turned it upside down to get some on my hand for using, the whole sieve part fell out, bringing about a third of the powder with it before I managed to save the day! So I lost a significant portion at the first go, and wasn’t best pleased, hey ho.
Anyway, I struggled on womanfully, and actually I really like this powder. It’s light and very easy to blend in with a powder brush, and it has a VERY light scent to it, which I rather enjoy. It’s not at all overpowering and gives me a nice feminine glow – which as a woman in my early fifties, I always need, LOL!
So, when my collection of Rimmel Match Perfection powder is needing restocking, I shall definitely buy it again – just as long as I remember to hold the sieve part in when I turn it over!
