Body Shop Spiced Orange Shower Gel

This shower gel is one of the limited Christmas ranges offered by the Body Shop this year. I was very much looking forward to it as I LOVE orange and cinnamon, so this looked to be perfect for me.

It is fairly nice with a subtle orange scent with a hint of spices to it – which could be cinnamon or which could equally be something else. Possibly the vanilla, I’m not sure! But it’s not the powerful punchy Christmas extravaganza I was hoping for. I don’t think the Body Shop have ever had a better seasonal scent than the amazing Peppermint Candy Cane – which I still miss and which I hope they might revisit one day!…

Still, this Orange Spice gel is perfectly nice and it lathers up well. But just don’t expect any oomph.

Body Shop Joy & Jasmine Hand Cream

Body Shop Product Review

This is part of the Body Shop’s limited edition Christmas Joy & Jasmine range, and it’s a gorgeous floral scent. The hand cream blends into the skin very easily and provides 48-hour hydration. Plus it’s vegan.

It gives you a hint of summer in the middle of winter, which is definitely what we need this year!

Body Shop Love & Plums Hand Cream

Body Shop Product Review

This is one of the Body Shop’s Christmas scent ranges and I really do like it. Okay, plums aren’t my favourite fruit so I was a bit uncertain about it to begin with, I have to admit – but it’s a very comforting fragrance and definitely smells like plums – which is great news! For me, it feels more autumnal than Christmassy but that’s no bad thing, LOL.

It’s also very moisturising and blends in quickly, leaving my hands feeling super-soft with virtually no effort. Just what is needed in this chilly weather.

The plum extract comes from Turkey (who knew!), and the product has notes of peony and musk as well.
