Body Shop Ethiopian Green Coffee Firming Cream

Body Shop Ethiopian Green Coffee Cream

I was really looking forward to trying out this firming body cream from The Body Shop as I have enjoyed other items from their Spa of the World range. However, I’m afraid it was something of a disappointment – I was expecting it (more fool me!) to smell like coffee which would have really cheered me up in the mornings, but it doesn’t smell like coffee at all, or indeed anything else, sigh. Also I was expecting it to be slightly grainy for sorting out my bumps and lumps (LOL!) but it’s actually quite smooth.

I was also hoping it would help those aforementioned lumps and bumps but alas it doesn’t do that, even deeper sigh … So I’m returning to the firming body cream I know and love, and giving up with this one.

The one good thing about it is – if it works for you, and it obviously worked for a heck of a lot of people – the tub is huge so will last you for ages! Plus the green colour is nice. You can pick up a pot at The Body Shop for £25 for 350ml, so quite a hefty price tag!

Dove Firming Lotion

I used to really rate this lotion at helping with those scary cellulite areas, but I’m not sure it does anything much for me now – or maybe I’m just getting older, LOL! Anyway, it’s a nice enough lotion but I’ve decided I need something a bit more active to turn back that post-menopausal clock – so if anyone has any anti-cellulite lotion recommendations, please share now …

In the meantime, you can get this lotion at Amazon for £4.95 for 250ml, if you’re minded to try.
