This is the second of the Creightons shower scrubs I’ve tried and it’s definitely better than the last one (which was pretty grim). It’s a decent enough scrub and the raspberry scent is okay, though still a bit plastic in my view. But I’m not much taken with it, to be honest, so I don’t think I’ll be bothering with this brand again.
It contains natural raspberry extracts and is 100% vegan.
I was really pleased to spot this product as I needed a new body scrub and I love vanilla so it seemed like a no-brainer. However, I have to say I really hate it! The scrub is fine and does the trick, no problem – but the scent is simply horrid. It doesn’t smell like any vanilla or macadamia nut combination I could ever have imagined – in fact, it smells rather as if something died in the making of it. A bit like when I was young and a bird died slowly in the wall – for those of you who are old enough to remember such things. That’s certainly a smell one never forgets!
So, this is a definite no from me. I have another scent in this range to try next and I’m really hoping for better things! Surely it can’t be worse?…
