This is my favourite ever hair gel – it’s not sticky but it smooths the hair after washing and also gives you a good amount of hold. Does what it says on the tin! It’s a staple product in my beauty cabinet.

L’Oreal Invisi’Hold Extra Strength Hair Gel
I have been having real trouble finding a hair gel that suits me lately – and I’m happy to say that I’ve finally got one that’s perfect for me! This is a fabulous gel that doesn’t make my hair feel crackly or weird and it gives me just the right amount of hold to take me through the day. Also, there’s no residue and it’s gentle on my hair.
Result! It’s now one of my beauty staples.
V05 Mega Hold Hair Gel
This has been my go-to hair styling gel for absolutely ages but over the last few months it’s actually been making my hair super-dry and frizzy so I have now stopped using it. I don’t know whether this is the fault of lockdown stress or just my age (LOL!), but it just doesn’t do it for me any more.
If you don’t have a frizzy hair issue and if you need a good hold for your hair, then this might be the one for you?
You can pick up this product at Boots for £2.19 for 200ml and there’s a one-third offer on selected V05 items at the moment.
VO5 Mega Hold Styling Gel
This is the only gel I use as it works perfectly for my hair – it adds control without being too sticky, and it means my hair is much more manageable. I wouldn’t be without it!
You can pick this one up at Amazon for £6.50 for a pack of three, so that’s just a brilliant bargain. Enjoy!
VO5 Mega Hold Styling Gel
I’ve used this hair gel for a long time and it’s always done the trick, so I see no need to change in the foreseeable future. It’s not too sticky but keeps my hair nicely in place throughout the day without looking as if I’m indestructible, LOL
You can buy this product at Boots for £3.00 for 200ml, which is a current special offer price down by 29p. Every little counts, LOL!
