Eve Lom Kiss Mix

Yes, I know this lip balm is a complete luxury product but I LOVE it and I couldn’t live without it. I just love the soothing shine it gives my lips and it’s what I always use every evening to give myself a bit of glitz, whether I’m going out or not. You can use it with lipstick or without – the choice is yours!

It contains a beeswax base, with zinc oxide and menthol so there’s a really lovely slight tingle when you put it on. You can pick this gorgeous product up at Space NK for £16 for 7ml, and it lasts a long while.

Soap & Glory Double Whammy

A couple of Soap & Glory products to think about today:

S&G Smooch operator

Firstly, there’s the Smooch Operator lip butter balm – I’m using this in the bathroom as I can’t do without a lip balm of some kind in the bathroom, even though I always carry one in my handbag anyway. I had high hopes of this, and it’s quite good, especially the lovely coconut smell which is really nice. However, it’s actually hard to use as the balm is so solid that it takes several finger-swipes to get the dang stuff out of the pot. Also, whilst swiping, half of it gets up my nail anyway so I have to dig it out if I want to use it. Yuk!

The other thing is that you can’t just swipe and go – and believe me I’m a girl who absolutely has to swipe and go with my lip balm as I don’t like hanging around. However, it takes at least three attempts to get a decent amount of the balm on your lips so it’s not a product that saves time. I won’t be buying it again. But if you want to have a go, you can get it at Boots here for £5.00 .

S&G Puffy Eye Gel

On the other hand the S&G puffy eye attack eye gel is simply BRILLIANT. BRILLIANT, I tell you! I’m the first to admit it’s not the prettiest colour, being a kind of off-white – though that might be the shadows in the bedroom, LOL! But it’s totally amazing in getting rid of puffiness and bags, and after I have this on, I look about 10 years younger – or at least my eyes do. Since wearing it, nobody at work has remarked how tired I look, which they usually do on a fairly regular basis – so that’s a total plus point for me.

So I’m seriously hooked on this and I will definitely be buying it again. You can find it at Boots for £12.50. I admit this is pricy, but at the moment there’s a Buy-One-Get-One-At-Half-Price offer on Soap & Glory stuff at Boots, so definitely worth a look. Indeed, rush now to kick that puffiness into touch!

Have a great Sunday.
